    Insurance Bureau of Canada teams up with Fusion Saint John Inc. to combat
    impaired driving this holiday season

    SAINT JOHN, NB, Nov. 12 /CNW/ - Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC), on
behalf of Canada's home, car and business insurers, is joining forces with
Operation Red Nose provincial host, Fusion Saint John Inc., to get holiday
revelers - and their vehicles - home safely in five New Brunswick communities
(Saint John, Moncton, Acadian Peninsula, Oromocto-Burton and Edmundston)
during the holiday season.
    Operation Red Nose is a free designated-driver service that helps keep
roads safe. Last year, in New Brunswick alone, the program provided 2,250 safe
rides home with the help of more than 1,950 dedicated volunteers.
    At a news conference to be held at 10:30 am on Friday, November 14, 
Bill Adams, IBC Acting Vice-President, Atlantic, will announce details of the
2008 program. Special guests will include:

    -   Hon. Roly MacIntyre, MLA, Saint John East
    -   Saint John Mayor Ivan Court
    -   Bill Reid, Deputy Chief, Saint John Police Force
    -   Chantal Lefebvre, National Program Coordinator, Operation Red Nose
    -   Operation Red Nose mascot, Rudy.

    The news conference will take place Saint John City Hall - 8th Floor.
    B-roll and other visuals will be available. Telephone interviews can also
