Media Advisory - Fourth edition of Tremblant Forum: Responsible communications for a sustainable reputation
International sustainability conference on September 19 and 20, 2007
MONTREAL, Sept. 17 /CNW Telbec/ - Renowned experts in the growing field
of corporate responsibility and sustainability will convene on September 19
and 20, 2007 at the Westin Resort & Spa in Mont-Tremblant for the fourth
edition of the Tremblant Forum. The theme of this year's conference, which has
become one of the country's most important events in the field, is
"Responsible communications for a sustainable reputation."
Internationally renowned speakers
- Michael Stopford, Group Director, Corporate Reputation, Worldwide
Public Affairs and Communications for The Coca-Cola Company will be the
keynote speaker.
- Peter O'Toole, Director of Public Relations for General Electric, will
discuss GE's environmentally-friendly business initiative
"Ecomagination" for which the company plans to invest more than
$150 billion.
- Jeffrey Simpson, National Affairs Columnist for the Globe & Mail, will
launch his new book Hot Air: Meeting Canada's Climate Challenge at the
opening cocktail.
Debate on the role of the media
What role should the media play vis-à-vis corporate responsibility and
sustainability? Journalists from Fortune, Corporate Knights, Globe and Mail
and Reporters without Borders will engage in a lively debate on current issues
with a special focus on climate change.
